Are you or many people you know providing care for a senior citizen? If so, you’re not alone.

The VSP Foundation definition of “home healthcare assistant,” “personal care assistant,” or “elder care” is broad, including companionship or just being available to assist a senior.

But it’s undeniable that more and more time is spent on home health care, personal care and elder care as life expectancies and un-expectancies climb. In fact, an average of 20% of the workforce provides up to 20 hours of eldercare weekly. These caregivers are your support specialist and your care workers specialist.

Types of Home Health Care Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, and Elder Care, Case Manager are Specialist

Home Healthcare Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, Elder care, and Case Manager are paid specialist assistants to a family with physical, developmental or psychological needs.

These needs may be for making medical appointments, housing and financial decisions, dress up, taking medications reminders, watching or listening to activity all together for your loved one. A caregiver may also be entrusted with locating skilled services such as day care, nursing, assisted living, hospice and home health care, among other things.

In addition to planning and decision making, many specialist workers provide regular, even daily, care for your family member, either in their own homes or at other homes or facilities.

Home Health Care Assistant, Personal Care Assistant, and Elder Care Issues in the Workplace and Why Using a Specialist Is A Good Relief.

Just as any other family or personal issue, home health care, personal care, elder care is an additional stressor for family members especially working family members. These stresses appear as:

Reduced productivity on the job; Inability to travel or work overtime; Absenteeism; Worry about loosing out on advancement opportunities; Distraction and phone interruptions; Exhaustion and other health issues;

Stressed employees with subpar productivity ultimately affect the company.

Not only does job performance suffer, but employee caregivers without the assistance of specialist such as home health care assistants, personal care assistants or elder care assistants may be forced to leave the company or reduce their hours, resulting in retention issues.

VSP Foundation provides services for both the children, young adults and seniors.

Coronavirus And At Home School News Philadelphia/NYC/California: New York Schoolteacher "Kashim" Anthony Turpin Teams Up With California Pro Wrestling Sports Star Lenwood "Skip" "Hard Rock" Hamilton, Philadelphia Daycare-Teacher-Cartoonist Van Stone Promoting (“Kashim Turpin, Education Man! Agent 6-8”) To Ensure Inclusion Diversity Kids Learning At Home Community School During Coronavirus War Crisis by Van Stone, Philadelphia Front Page News Media frontpagenews1@yahoo.com (610) 803-1624

Van Stone Philadelphia Presents Kashim Turpin, Education Man! Agent 6-8 is a new American 10 minutes online media live action virtual education program featuring Dance, Arts, Science, Music, Math, Photography, Workshop-Trades, Civics, News Media, Agriculture, Technology, Hip-Hop and R and B, Tutoring, Pro-Wrestling-Mentoring, and General school classroom instruction originally created by Van Stone Philadelphia radio/TV/media and Van Stone International House for Arts and Education Community School for kids learning school lessons at home due to the Coronavirus War Crisis in the U.S. and worldwide.

Van Stone's main goal is to primarily encourage Black inner city children to join the community school keeping a personal mission to stay focused on education and trade skills, as well as the arts in order to prepare and fit and qualify themselves one day to act as teachers of the arts and trade skills.

"Kashim" Anthony Turpin, aka, Kashim Turpin is a graduate of the University of the Arts and New York City teacher who used his schoolteacher voice to instruct dance and general education studies during regular school hours. Turpin is a fellow alumnus with the late Robert L. Jefferson Sr. Robert L. Jefferson was prominent in the Philadelphia art scene, being instrumental in many local events, festivals, and exhibitions; including the annual Clothesline Exhibit in Rittenhouse Square.

Because schools around the country were ordered to shut down, Kashim, Lenwood "Skip" "Hard Rock" Hamilton, the founder and professional wrestling sports star of Soul City Wrestling, (Black Professional Wrestling Federation based out of Philadelphia, Pa), and Van Stone, a daycare teacher and professional cartoonist, teamed up to take the online education class route to help keep school and kids going, Kashim,Hard Rock Hamilton and Stone decided.

Since taking the team up to the Black media as champions for continued school-age children education two years ago, Kashim, the professional Dance Class Instructor, has seen his popularity grow quickly.

Due to the Coronavirus pandemic in the year 2020, during the month of March the percentage of attendants to children of school age at home is twice as large as in 2019. This year alone, thus far, schools have been shut down in all United States with the exception of 2 or 3. due to the virus pandemic.

Turpin is a schoolteacher specializing in Dance Education. He decided to team up with Van Stone who is also an author, youth action book and comic strip writer for his own “Heroes of the Last Q” series starring Superheroes “Agent U7” and Agent Shadai Chiropractra” episodes.

Van Stone of Philadelphia is a former student of the late Herbert Rogers Jr., a children's books author.

Rogers Jr., a graduate of Cheyney State Teacher College, a historically Black university, and a former principal of Dr. Ethel Allen School, was best known for his educational leadership in the School District of Philadelphia.

Herb Rogers Jr.'s most cherished experience was teaching an all-boys class- known as the Boys from room 109-at the Alain Locke School for their first and second grades in 1963. A full-page story was dedicated to that experiment in the Philadelphia Inquirer. Rogers announced a reunion search for the boys in an effort to be reunited with them as special guest on the Oprah Winfrey talk show. Twenty eight of the 34 boys in the class graduated from high school, with 16 going on to college.

It just so happen that Van Stone was one of the room 109 boys who managed to make it through hard times coping with living below the poverty level, finishing high school at the University City High School and even going further to college becoming a student at Cheyney University just like his beloved teacher, mentor and father figure Mr. Rogers Jr. had done.

An alumnus of Cheyney, Herb Rogers Jr.'s bold empowerment skills and creative gifts led him to publish two children’s books that were illustrated by the late Robert L. Jefferson Sr. “Roger Robbie and the Backward ABC’s” and “Roger Robbie Discovers Dr. J’s Secrets” are works of the author.

The Roger Robbie identity, a lovable raccoon character, had been chosen only after both Herb Rogers and Robert L. Jefferson agreed to use both of their legal names for the character's name title. Roger, the raccoon's first name, was taken from Herb's last name. And Robbie, the animal's last name, was borrowed from Jefferson's first name.  Given the fact that both Rogers Jr. and Jefferson Sr. were well aware that a raccoon is an animal of the wild, pesky and can become defensive if cornered, nevertheless, the educators choose the raccoon as a symbol of value, advantageous, and good health because of the animal's uncanny ability to put family first, to survive against the odds, and to prefer healthy foods for a good nutritious meal and healthy diet compared to most wild animals. Most of all though, raccoons are not dangerous to people.

A few other notable Cheyney alumni that attended the same school as Rogers Jr. are Edward Rudolph " "Ed" Bradley Jr., best known working on the CBS News television program 60 Minutes, Jim Vance, journalist and anchor of News4 on WRC-TV in Washington, D.C., Thaddeus Kirkland, Mayor of Chester, Pennsylvania.

After the search for the boys from room 109 had ended for Herb Rogers Jr., Van Stone got word about the search and did eventually catch up with his father figure.

Not long after the two had met again, Herb Rogers Jr. passed the torch to Stone entrusting him with the ownership of the Rogers Jr. entire Roger Robbie educational materials collection. The collection included books and value posters that were created by the Rogers Jr. and Jefferson team up.

Today, the animal character, is well known as "Roger Robbie, the Hip-Hop Raccoon." Roger Robbie has been up graded to keep up with kids’ Pre-K through 12 and modern-day education standard courses that are in lockstep with those of Community School watch program and student support activities.

Speaking of Community School, this is one good reason why Stone created the title of the watch program, the student and teacher support, as well as bonus assessment materials for on the web learning.

In addition to bonus materials for on the web learning presented by Kashim, bonus physical fitness and mental strength episodes will be demonstrated by Pro Wrestling Star Linwood "Skip" "Hard Rock" Hamilton, a Philadelphia native, currently involved in community mentoring and educational work with youth now assisting students and promoting his own California areas through Pennsylvania areas save the children format.

Lenwood "Skip" Hamilton, aka, "Hard Rock" Hamilton is a former star athlete, (a junior high school and high school football player and basketball player as well as in track and field) college football championship player with the North Carolina State's 1979 Atlantic Coast Conference championship football season team who uses his voice to encourage students to believe in a sense of belonging to something; A positive legend about greatness, winning very high and loyalty.

Hard Rock furthered his higher learning attending Southern University, a historically Black college.

While playing premier level college sports football at Southern University, Skip Hamilton became known as one of the "Southern Five" on trial; a notable criminal trial that got national attention beginning in August 1983.

Two players of the five were acquitted, two were granted retrials when verdicts couldn't be reached.

Only Hamilton was found guilty.

For four months, 16 days, Skip Hamilton was incarcerated at Orleans Parish Prison. Eventually, in late February 1984 the prosecution withdrew its charges against Hamilton. Skip became a free man once again.

Hamilton surpassed the terribly wrongful imprisonment incident with earning a free agent contract agreement becoming a Philadelphia Eagles player in 1984 as well as in 1987.

Furthermore, Lenwood Hamilton developed more unique sports skills combined with acting and wrestling training classes and then went on to create his own Heavy Weight Champion, "Hard Rock" Hamilton, professional wrestler and company for family entertainment.

Soon afterwards, Hard Rock Hamilton launched "Soul City Wrestling," a top Black wrestling company and group that performed in Philadelphia and surrounding suburbs area, delivered family-based entertainment void of profanity and racial stereotypes that are prevalent in many other pro wrestling circuits.

Fast forward to November the 20th, 1999... that was a moment in time when no heavy weight wrestling contender in any wrestling federation, union, or virus, for that matter, in any state, -could stand up to or defeat the Hard Rock Hamilton. That year, Hard Rock and his Soul City Wrestling friends were mentoring school-age kids reminding them to work hard and stay in class.

Van Stone and educator friends were also at hard work running the Van Stone Community School at the West Philadelphia High School located at 48th and Walnut Street.

Being old working buddies together at the Northern Homes for Children in Roxborough, Pa, Van Stone called on Hard Rock Hamilton to help team up to promote the first Black Wrestling Union event ever, for boys, girls, family and friends in the West Philadelphia neighborhood.

Skip Hard Rock Hamilton answered the call. More positive Black leadership for school kids took off in Philly thanks to Hard Rock Hamilton and several other Black and White professional wrestlers.

21 years later, Stone has called on Hard Rock to support a very important Community School program during these extreme difficult times for better education opportunities and the Black community.

Once again Hard Rock agrees to push the at home school effort that Stone has developed starting with Kashim- Stone's own son.

Van Stone is pulling out all the stops adding his adopted son, Kashim Turpin to help keep kids safe at home and busy learning exciting classroom work and fun fitness.

“Kashim Turpin… Education Man! Agent 6-8” is the stage name for Turpin and is the name of the Van Stone and Kashim Turpin program. The program is a virtual program, easy to follow, that will be available for students. Agent 6-8 represents Kashim’s work with 6 through 8 graders.

The program has first aired on Power WVSR Youtube.com and Facebook starting from March 23, 2020 to July 10, 2020. It will be hosted by Kashim Turpin. The show will air ten minutes episodes during its first season.
